A disciple is someone who is:
A. Following Jesus - Becoming a believer in Jesus Christ is not the end goal, it is the first step in the life of a disciple.
B. Being changed by Jesus - It is Jesus who makes each of us a new creation, with the Holy Spirit working in our lives to mature us in our faith.
C. Committed to the mission of Jesus - We are called to love God, love others and be disciples who make disciples. Jesus wants His Church to multiply through us. It takes work and it is amazing that He trusts us to make it happen!
What does a growing disciple look like?
We serve and play together while we grow closer to God and one another. We make mistakes, learn from them and forgive each other. We study the Bible together, grow stronger in our faith, and learn to love like Jesus does.
